I'm Cold

I'm sitting on my bed, macbook in lap, mocha at my side. I stare at my mug of mocha, and contemplate. No, that poor cup of deliciousness is not keeping me warm.

It's cold outside and I'm shivering. It's much to cold to get out of bed. What's the point? All my joints will freeze up and I might even die too.

And I feel a bit sorry for my mocha. It's gotten a bit cold. It needs a sweater! Wouldn't it look lovely in this lovely chunky cozy?


Maybe that's the answer to all life's problems. Maybe I'm suffering because I have not given my mug something cozy to wear. Who knows?

My cozy comfy cowl is complete!

I did it! I made an awesome cowl, and I wrote the pattern down too! I'm totally NOT selling it, it's mine!

It's crocheted, however, it does have a knitted look to it doesn't it? I used recycle cotton yarn, ripped from a sweater that had a tear and just wasn't worth trying to repair, so I unraveled it instead.
I also used buttons I found on Etsy. They are wooden, cut from a small tree branch.

I do plan to put the pattern in my Etsy shop too, but first, I need to work on getting the pattern written correctly, to the best of my abilities. I never new writing patterns could be such a challenge.
